Led Zeppelin is God
Just became reaquainted with Physical Graffiti.
Holy shit.
The best rock band ever, let me count the ways:
1. Jimmy Page- one of the top 5 guitarists EVER. Definitely the best 9 fingered guitarist.
2. Robert Plant- the consumate blues shouter. I heard once that the amplifiers went out during one of their shows, and yet Bobby's could be heard plainly over the noise of the crowd (and Bonham's drums).
3. John Bonham- that fuckin' monkey can bang the coconuts!
4. JP Jones- he's a bass player. Bass players take the Hippocratic oath, "first, do no harm." He does no harm. Seriously, bass is like mayonnaise: without it, something is missing; with it, your rock-and-roll sandwich is complete.
